The featured photo of this post was taken when our organization was about to perform in front of the screening committee for that year’s Engineering Week Dulaan (Theater) Contest. We were all frantically playing our eyes along the many lines printed on our own copies of the script. As I finish memorizing the words in my head, I shifted my view on this majestic sunset I was about to witness. Wow.
We never got accepted and we weren’t able to go beyond the screening process. It was a long time ago but when I stumbled upon this picture in my gallery, I realized something. It reminded me that with the sleeping of the sun comes our failures in life. And with its rising comes our never-faltering hope that we can always try again. Big failures. Small failures. We can always try again.
And this time, we will do it with Jesus.
